Application

The 2010 PONY Princess competition will be held on Thursday, June 24th, at 6:30 P.M. at PONY Headquarters, 1951 PONY Place, Washington, PA.  Ten (10) finalists will be chosen to represent each team in the World Series.  One of these ten finalists will be crowned PONY Princess during the World Series which is scheduled this year from August 6th through August 14th.  A PONY Hostess will also be honored before the final game of the series.  All ten finalists are expected to participate in all World Series functions that week.  

Any girl who will be turning 13 or 14 years of age (born between May 1, 1995 and April 30, 1997) and is interested in a chance to become PONY Princess, should fill out the application below and answer the following question: 

I would like to be chosen 2010 PONY Princess because . . . 

Each contestant will be judged on mannerisms, personality, appearance, and the ability to express themselves.  The decision of the judges is final.  Judging for the PONY Princess and PONY Hostess will continue during the World Series. 

The ten (10) finalists will be notified by phone within 24 hours of the judging.  After the selection is completed, the finalists will receive additional information regarding the competition, wardrobe, schedule, etc.

All contestants must enclose a copy of their birth certificate, a recent snapshot, and a check made payable to “Tournaments, Inc.” for the $20.00 application fee.  Each contestant will receive a PONY World Series T-shirt and one (1) “Series Pass” for admission to the PONY World Series.
